Highly recommend pulling out this pairing combo for Cheesemas featuring 24 month Comté, dried apricots, pistachio nougat, and Septembre Burgundy Chardonnay from Edouard Delaunay. Ingredients 4oz Comté 6-8 dried apricots 1oz pistachio nougat Rosemary (optional) Instructions Thinly slice the Comté. Cut the nougat into cubes. Lay the half Comté slices out on the top half of the platter, then place the rest on the other half. Add the apricots on either side, leaving the center empty. Author: SorrenteauxGrab your best ghouls and prepare for Halloween with a Comté CharBOOterie Mansion!This frightfully delicious French cow's milk cheese is used as the windows, cobblestone walkway (rind included), and not-so-spooky ghosts. The Château is constructed with seeded flatbread crisps, sea salt grissinis, and rosemary flatbread crisps as the shingles. Olives are used as the planters for the sage greenery, Capocollo as rosettes, broccoli and herbs as the shrubs, and Marcona almonds & pistachios as the accent rocks. Marshmallow pumpkins for the final Halloween touch.
