Small Roasted Figs with Comté Cheese
Ingredients
  • 100 g (3.5 ounces) of Comté cheese in thin slices
  • 12 large purple figs
  • 1 handful of raisins
  • Honey
  • Black pepper
  • A few flaked almonds
Instructions
  1. Soak the raisins in a bowl of hot water for 10 minutes and drain well.
  2. Cut crosses in the center of the figs. Place them on an oiled dish, insert a few drained raisins in the center of each fig with 1 teaspoon of honey and a little pepper.
  3. Bake for approximately 10-11 minutes at 400˚F.
  4. While the figs are cooking, toast the almonds in a dry frying pan.
  5. Place the almonds on top of the figs and add the Comté slices. Let the cheese melt before serving.
