Comté Crustless Quiche
Unexpected brunch guests? Here’s a simple solution that can be whipped-up in under an hour.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cream or half-and-half (slightly warmed)
- 3 or 4 eggs (depends on size) at room temperature
- 1 cup Comté
- ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Heat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix with wire whisk until well blended.
- Pour into 4 buttered ramekins or a buttered pie plate. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes -- until almost
- firm.
- Serve warm with your choice of fruit, salad, or both.
