Unexpected brunch guests? Here’s a simple solution that can be whipped-up in under an hour.
Serves: 4-5
  • 1 cup cream or half-and-half (slightly warmed)
  • 3 or 4 eggs (depends on size) at room temperature
  • 1 cup Comté
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix with wire whisk until well blended.
  2. Pour into 4 buttered ramekins or a buttered pie plate. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes -- until almost
  3. firm.
  4. Serve warm with your choice of fruit, salad, or both.
