Belgium Comté Toast
- Whole meal sourdough bread (or sourdough bread)
- 2 slices of young Comté
- 15g of salted butter
- Apples or pears
- 2 speculoos (cookies)
- Crumble the speculoos and mix them with the butter.
- Spread the mixture on a slice of bread.
- Cover with a slice of Comté and a few slices of thinly sliced fruit.
- Repeat the operation.
- Top with a slice of bread.
- Carefully remove the crusts
- Cut the toast into 2 triangles and serve as a 'club sandwich' or cut into 4 and serve on a skewer.
