Soak the raisins in a bowl of hot water for 10 minutes and drain well.
Cut crosses in the center of the figs. Place them on an oiled dish, insert a few drained raisins in the center of each fig with 1 teaspoon of honey and a little pepper.
Bake for approximately 10-11 minutes at 400˚F.
While the figs are cooking, toast the almonds in a dry frying pan.
Place the almonds on top of the figs and add the Comté slices. Let the cheese melt before serving.
